Museum Diorama

I made this museum style diorama for my major project on a Foundation Art and Design course.
I designed and made it to showcase the smaller details of the natural world that exists around us, and also to draw attention to the fact that bugs are beautiful and unique creatures that I think should be admired and cared for.
Within the diorama are predicted extinction dates for the bugs. This is intended to make people aware of the impact us humans can have, and to inspire others to be more considerate of the little beings that are so often ignored.
It is entirely constructed from re-purposed materials and Super Sculpey polymer clay.
Each bug was made to scale and painted by hand.
